Top Shelf was founded by Robert Patterson, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and career chef, with a simple thesis: great hospitality is the result of relentless preparation, not improvisation.
That belief shows up in everything we do. Custom menus designed around your event. Detailed run-of-show. Tested staff ratios. Vendor relationships built over a decade in the Lowcountry.
Today we serve as a preferred F&B partner for The Citadel, The Citadel Beach House, Charleston Southern University, MUSC and the Carolina Country Music Festival, alongside the private weddings, dinners and gatherings that remain our heart.
